The John Slagle Memorial Golf Tournament
What began as a simple family tradition grew into something much larger after John Slagle’s passing. To honor John’s memory and continue spreading awareness about mesothelioma, the Slagle family organized the first John Slagle Memorial Golf Tournament. Over the years, this gathering has grown into an annual event that welcomes approximately 100 attendees: friends, community members, and supporters gathering to remember John and contribute to a cause that matters deeply to the family.
Each tournament raises funds for the Mesothelioma Applied Research Foundation (MARF), with donations made in John’s honor. Our firm is proud to serve as a main sponsor every year, helping the family’s efforts generate more than $60,000 in contributions. The event features a full day of golf followed by a banquet and raffle, creating opportunities for connection, celebration, and continued advocacy for mesothelioma research.
