How Long Does It Take To Settle an Injury Claim?
Video Transcript
Generally, what I tell clients is that legal follows medical, and what that simply means is we’ll get your case resolved when it’s clear what the nature and extent of your injuries are. We know what the wage loss is, what the medical bills are, and what’s likely to occur in the future based on what your doctor is telling us. In terms of a range, anywhere from six months to a year is the workup and development of the case. If a case needs to be litigated, that could take one, two, three years, but we’re always pushing your case ahead while giving you time to deal with the medical. You deal with the medical—we’ll deal with the legal.
